Com estes dias chuvosos dei comigo a pensar no verão, na praia no sol. Estes pensamentos fizeram-me querer partilhar convosco a minha experiência deste verão, visitar a Jamaica. Sempre foi um país que tive imensa curiosidade em conhecer mas mesmo já sabendo muito sobre esta cultura conseguiram surpreender-me. Apesar das influências do turismo e dos americanos, a Jamaica continua a ser um paraíso com praias maravilhosas e o mar mais calmo e quente em que já estive.
Fiquei bastante surpreendida pela quantidade de sítios que eles tinham para visitar, mas como o tempo não era suficiente para tudo optei por ir ao sítio onde foi filmado o tão conhecido filme "Blue Lagoon" e claro à emblemática casa do rei do Reggae, Bob Marley.
Foi sem dúvida uma experiência memorável onde pude contactar com uma cultura e mentalidade totalmente diferente da que estamos habituados e conhecer sítios de cortar a respiração.

Hi!
These rainy days got me thinking about the summer, the beach and the sun. All these thinking made me want to share with you the experience I went throw this summer, traveling to Jamaica. It has always been a country I was tremendously curious to know even though I was well aware of their culture they still managed to surprise me. Not even the tourism and american influence ruined Jamaica, it's still a paradise with wonderful beaches and the calmer and warmer sea I've ever been to.
I was really surprised by the amount of places they have for you to visit, unfortunately the time was not enough for me to visit them all so I choose the place where Blue Lagoon was filmed and the house of the king of Reggae Music, Bob Marley.
It was definitely a memorable experience where I was able to contact with a culture and way of thinking completely different from what we are used do and visit breath taking places.
I'll leave here some pics for you to take your own conclusions and I hope I can wake up the will for you to go and visit that amazing country.
