Venice City of Dreams

Olá!
Estive neste fim-de-semana em Veneza e, como tal, vou deixar-vos um pequeno guia da minha viagem onde podem ver todos os sítios que visitei. Veneza é sem dúvida uma das cidades mais bonitas que já visitei, já estava à espera de ficar deslumbrada ainda assim, fiquei muito surpreendida por ver que a beleza da cidade não está só nas grandes áreas turísticas mas sim, nas pequenas coisas.

Hi!
This weekend I went to Venice and so I'll leave you some pics from my holidays and a small guide with places you can visit while you're there. Venice is definitively one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to, I was already expecting to be amazed with that town but I was very surprised to see that not all the beautiful places are located on turistic areas but also, in small parts of the city that are not that visited by tourists.
I'll leave here some pics and some suggestions, I hope you like it!

Day 1

No primeiro dia apenas visitei a cidade "por alto" porque estava cansada da viagem, já para não falar no enorme frio que estava. A primeira foto foi numa das muitas pontes que podemos encontrar no meio da cidade, achei maravilhosa e decidi captar o momento!

On the first day I only visited some parts of the city because I was very tired from the flight and also, because it was freezing. The firts pic I'm showing is from one of the many bridges you can find in every street in Venice, I thought it was lovely so I decided to take a picture to share with you!

Day 2:


No segundo dia já estava mais familiarizada com o frio e com imensa vontade de conhecer esta cidade maravilhosa portanto, fiz "pernas ao caminho" e andei por vários sítios entre eles a famosa Ponte dos Suspiros situada no Palazzo Ducale que é absolutamente maravilhosa. Aparentemente reza a lenda que os apaixonados terão a garantia de um amor eterno se derem um beijo durante o pôr-do-sol enquanto estão numa gôndola debaixo da ponte no momento em que os sinos da Catedral de São Marcos soarem.
Fui também lanchar um dos cafés emblemáticos na Praça de São Marcus, existem vários são um bocado caros mas vale a pena pela experiência.

On the second day I was already more familiarized with the cold and dying to get to know the city so, I began the day by walking around and I ended up finding the famous Suspiro Bridge which is located on Doge's Palace and is absolutely breath taking. Apparently, legend has it that the lovers will find eternal love, if they kiss under the bridge during sunset on a gondola when the bells from São Marcos Cathedral ring.  
I also went for tea at one of the iconic cafes at São Marcos Square, there are lots of them and even though they are a bit expensive it's worth it for the experience.

Dia 3 

Infelizmente este foi o meu último dia em Veneza e, como não podia deixar de ser, foi neste dia que andei na famosa gondôla veneziana, com direito a passear pelo Gran Canal e pelos pequenos canais ( que na minha opinião são os mais bonitos). Aproveitei também, para ir visitar a Ponte dell'accademia, que faz ligação com a zona mais artística de Veneza onde predominam galerias de Arte e o famoso museu Peggy Guggenheim.

Unfortunately, this was my last day in Venice so I went to the famouse gondola ride where I went to the Gran Canal and also to a small canal (which in my opinion are the most beautiful ones). I also went to Ponte dell'accademia, which leads us to the more artistic part of the city where there are lots of art galleries and the famous Peggy Guggenheim Museum.
