Estive recentemente em Amesterdão durante 5 dias com o meu namorado e, por isso, decidi criar este guia de 5 dias em Amesterdão para vos ajudar a ter ideias quando visitarem a cidade. Amesterdão pode ser considerada a cidade do pecado já que o que é proibido na maioria dos países europeus e mesmo mundiais, é legal nesta cidade como por exemplo: o consumo de marijuana e a prostituição. Estas são sem dúvida duas palavras que instantaneamente associamos à capital holandesa mas, Amesterdão tem muito mais para oferecer, desde um conjunto de canais maravilhosos a museus repletos de obras de arte, esta cidade tem de tudo um pouco e isso torna-a inesquecível.

I was recently in Amsterdam for 5 days with my boyfriend and so, I decided to create this 5 days in Amsterdam Tour to help you when you go to Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is definitively the sin city since most of the things which are forbidden in the majority of the European countries is legal around here, for example: prostitutions and consumption of marijuana.
Those are undoubtedly the 2 most linked words with Amsterdam but, this city has a lot more to offer from a set of lovely over the water canals to mesmerizing works of art, all of this and much more makes this city unforgettable.
✈ Existem várias companhias aéreas a voar para Amesterdão Schiphol (o aeroporto mais central) mas, infelizmente, nenhuma low-cost. Por isso, se quiserem aproveitar os preços da Ryanair, vão voar até Eindhoven onde podem depois apanhar diversos meios de transporte para chegar ao centro de Amesterdão. Uma das opções são os vários autocarros que partem do aeroporto mas, demoram cerca de 2h e custam em média 20€.
There are several airlines which fly to Amsterdam Schiphol (the nearest airport) but, unfortunately none of those is a low cost airline. So, if you want to enjoy the Ryanair prices to Amsterdam you will have to fly to Eindhoven where you'll find several ways to get to the city centre. One of the option is catching a bus but it will take you 2 hours and will cost you an average of 20€.
🏠: Eu tive alguma dificuldade em arranjar hotel porque mesmo os 3 estrelas estavam com preços absurdos, pelo menos nas datas em que fui. Fique hospedada no NH Barbizon Palace mesmo na praça da Estação Central a 10 minutos a pé do Red Light District
I had a hard time when I was trying to find a hotel in Amsterdam especially because, the prices were extremely high, even for 3 stars hotels at least, at the dates I was trying to book. We stayed at NH Barbizon Palace near Central Station at a walking distance of 10 min from the Red Light District.
🍴 Têm muitas opções para comer em Amesterdão, desde restaurantes mais tradicionais onde podem provar as iguarias locais, a restaurantes mais gerais. Uma das coisas que vão encontrar em todas as esquinas e, possivelmente mais que um, são restaurantes argentinos. Parece que a carne argentina é super apreciada em Amesterdão e por isso eles têm imensa oferta.
You have many options to have a meal in Amsterdam, from more traditional restaurants where you can try the local dishes to more general ones. One of the things I noticed the most was the amount of argentine restaurants spread around the city. I swear you could find one of two in each street.
🚉 Podem optar por andar de metro ou tram para se movimentarem dentro da cidade. Nós optamos por apenas apanhar o Tram até à Zona dos Museus e a partir dai andamos sempre a pé para todo o lado. É a melhor maneira de conhecer todos os recantos da cidade!
You can either use the Metro or the Tram to visit the city. We just took the Tram once, to go from Central Station to the Museum Headquarter and then we decided to know everything by walking. It's the best way to get to know all the hidden parts of the city!
Day 1 : Just Chilling 🔓

Nós começamos por visitar esta zona porque viemos de comboio do aeroporto e este saia exatamente na Estação Central o que para nós foi ótimo já que o nosso hotel ficava ai.
Tip❓ Visitem esta zona em horas mais atribuladas para terem noção da agitação que se forma em Amesterdão principalmente, ao final da tarde.

We started by visiting this area since the train we took in the airport stopped there and also, our hotel was there.
Tip ❓ : Try to visit this area in busy hours in order to familiarize with the confusion Amsterdam has.
Red Light District 🔞
O famoso distrito vermelho onde podemos percorrer várias ruelas e, normalmente de ambos os lados, encontramos montras onde as prostitutas posam para as pessoas que passeiam. A maioria destas mulheres são lindíssimas e à medida que as pessoas vão passando, tentam chamar a atenção de forma a atrair clientes. Esta é uma das maiores atrações de Amesterdão mas vale a pena visitá-la durante o dia para ver a discrepância na beleza das mulheres que lá se encontram durante o dia e as que estão apenas ao final da tarde ou noite.
Tip❓ Tenham cuidado com os vossos pertences em quanto passeiam. Há sempre muitos vendedores de droga a perguntarem se querem algum tipo de droga e ao fim de semana com a quantidade de pessoas na rua é importante terem em atenção as vossas coisas (bolsos, carteira, etc).
The famous Red Light District where you can walk several streets and see, on both sides, shop windows with prostitutes posing for whoever is walking in the street. The majority of these women are just gorgeous and they try to catch people's attention by calling them from their shop windows as a way to attract potential clients. This is one of the biggest attractions in Amsterdam but you should also visit it in the day to see the difference between the women who work during the day and, those who work ar night.
Tip ❓ : Take care of your belongings since there are lots of drug dealers on the streets always asking if you want to buy any kind of drugs. Also, on the weekend the streets are crowded so, be careful.

Amesterdão é conhecida pelos seus canais, algo que podemos encontrar em quase todas as esquinas da cidade e que lhe concede um ar pitoresco e romântico, ideal para todas as idades.

Amsterdam is known by its canals which is something we can find in every corner and which gives the city that romantic picturesque environment, ideal for every age.
Tip❓ Aproveitem os canais para tirar fotos maravilhosas ao final da tarde, eles ganham um encanto ainda maior.
Tip ❓: Enjoy the canals to take amazing pictures by the end of the day, the channels look even more beautiful.
Na rua perto do nosso hotel, encontramos uma loja super fora do vulgar mas bastante adequada ao estilo de Amesterdão, era uma loja que apenas vendia preservativos de todos os feitios e para todos os gostos.

Esta zona é uma das mais frequentadas da cidade porque reúne grandes museus da cidade , como por exemplo: Van Gogh, e Rijksmuseum. Nós apenas visitamos o Van Gogh porque o preço dos bilhetes ainda é um pouco elevado e queríamos aproveitar para conhecer o máximo possível.
This area of town has lots of people mainly because there you can find amazing museums such as the Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum. We only went to the Van Gogh museum since the prices of the tickets are little bit high.

Uma zona encantadora para visitar ao final da tarde quando o sol se está a pôr e o frio começa a aparecer ainda mais.

Aproveitem para passar nesta zona, mesmo ao lado da Praça de Dam é um mundo de lojas, restaurantes e bares. Vale muito a pena!
Visit this part of town near Dam Square, here you'll find a world of shops, bars and restaurants, it's totally worth it!
Uma paragem obrigatório se forem a Amesterdão, visitar a casa da Anne Frank trouxe-me de volta as memórias dos dias em que li o seu diário. Sem dúvida uma experiência intensa e que nos faz pensar na Humanidade e em todos os conflitos desumanos que já aconteceram.
Tip❓ Comprem os bilhetes online porque, se o fizerem, têm um horário de entrada privilegiado comparado aos horários de quem compra o bilhete no local. Já para não falar da fila que para os bilhetes online é quase inexistente e para os outros bilhetes é gigante. Estivemos cerca de 1h45 na fila.
Visiting the Anne Frank's House is a mandatory stop if you're in Amsterdam. When I entered there, I started to remember when I read her diary and the feelings it made me fell. Without any doubt, it's a intense experience which makes you wonder about Humanity and all the inhuman conflicts that already happened.
Tip❓ : Buy your tickets in advance and buy them online because you'll have a different timetable to visit the house and a different line which is a privilege. We forgot to do that and stood in the line for 1h45.
Queríamos imenso fazer um cruzeiro pelos canais e quando encontramos esta opção (mesmo por acaso), decidimos experimentar e foi uma experiência incrível! Pagamos 15€ cada um com direito a um passeio de cerca de 1hora onde tínhamos um guia que explicava os vários pontos turísticos por onde passávamos e ainda tivemos oportunidade de ver o Amsterdam Lights Festival e perceber o significado de cada escultura. O melhor deste passeio era a atmosfera criada no barco que faz lembrar uma gôndola e que torna o passeio muito romântico.
Tip❓Vão agasalhados porque vão passar muito frio.

Na rua perto do nosso hotel, encontramos uma loja super fora do vulgar mas bastante adequada ao estilo de Amesterdão, era uma loja que apenas vendia preservativos de todos os feitios e para todos os gostos.

Esta foi sem dúvida a minha parte favorita já que, as minhas flores preferidas são as tulipas e este mercado está repleto delas! Aqui temos a hipótese de comprar um bouquet de tulipas ou apenas os bulbos e depois plantá-los em casa (eu trouxe um para experimentar, vamos ver como corre). Junto ao mercado existem também várias lojas de queijo, um dos ícones de Amesterdão.
This was one of my favourite parts since tulips are my favourite flowers and this market is full of them! Here we can choose to buy a whole tulip bouquet or only a bulb to plant at home (I brought one to try, hopefully it will work out). Near the market you can find several cheese stores, another things extremely linked with Amsterdam.

Day 4: Embracing the Amsterdam spirit ☄

Uma paragem obrigatório se forem a Amesterdão, visitar a casa da Anne Frank trouxe-me de volta as memórias dos dias em que li o seu diário. Sem dúvida uma experiência intensa e que nos faz pensar na Humanidade e em todos os conflitos desumanos que já aconteceram.

Lovers Canal Cruise e Amsterdam Lights Festival 🚤
Queríamos imenso fazer um cruzeiro pelos canais e quando encontramos esta opção (mesmo por acaso), decidimos experimentar e foi uma experiência incrível! Pagamos 15€ cada um com direito a um passeio de cerca de 1hora onde tínhamos um guia que explicava os vários pontos turísticos por onde passávamos e ainda tivemos oportunidade de ver o Amsterdam Lights Festival e perceber o significado de cada escultura. We were looking forward to do a cruise in the canals and when we found this option, we decided to try it out and it was amazing! We payed 15€ each and had a 1hour trip with a guide explaining every touristic place we were passing and, we were lucky enough to see the Amsterdam Lights Festival and the guide also explained the meaning of all the structures. The best of this cruise was the atmosphere in the boar which resembled a gondola and turned the cruise into a very romantic time.

Este deve ter sido sem dúvida a coisa mais doce que comi na vida, tinha desde Oreo, Ovo Kinder e Kinder Barrinhas, a morangos, pedaços de banana, chantilly, de tudo um pouco, mesmo.

This was probably the sweetest thing I ever tasted it had everything! From Oreo cookies to Kinder Eggs, strawberries, banana, chantilly, it was very much complete.

Esta foi a experiência mais fora do vulgar de toda a minha viagem já que eu não sei andar de bicicleta. Ainda assim, consegui equilibrar-me em cima desta (com a ajuda do meu namorado óbvio).

This was the most odd experience of my trip since, I can't ride a bike but I managed to ride this one (obviously with my boyfriend's help).
