London Part II : Where to go 🚀

Olá!

Hoje como prometido deixo-vos alguns sítios para visitarem em Londres!! Esta semana anda tudo uma confusão porque estou a mudar de casa e andamos todos numa correria. Sabem aquela sensação de não saberem de onde sairam as coisas? É que nós nem temos assim tantaa coisa. Pois a verdade é que temos!!
Ahh e hoje foi um dia super diferente porque, pela primeira vez na vida, fui saltar de avião e foi I N C R I V E L !!!! Já há imenso tempo que falava na minha vontade em ir experimentar um salto tandem mas nunca tinha transformado a intenção em ação. Felizmente isso acabou e, como o meu namorado me oferecer o salto, ganhei coragem e lá fui eu!
Dentro de alguns dias vou ter acesso ao vídeo do salto e por isso vou fazer um post dedicado a esta experiência, onde vão poder rir-se com as minhas expressões faciais no momento de queda livre e acompanhar a minha aventura.

Por hoje, ficam aqui as minhas sugestões de locais a visitarem em Londres, pode ser que vos faça ficar com vontade de fazer as malas e marcar uma viagem! Quem não gosta não é?

Hi!

So as promised here are some tips of places to visit when in London!! This week has been a mess, I'm moving to another home and so I spent the whole week struggling with time to write plus study for my final exams. Do you know that feeling when you have no idea where things came from? I mean, we don't even own that many thing. Apparently we do!!

Today was also a very special day because, for the first time, I went to do a tandem jump, meaning jumping from a plane with a parachute. It was A M A Z I N G!! I've been meaning to go for so long but never turned my wants into actions. Luckily, my boyfriend gave me a voucher as a gift and so, I filled myself with courage and went for it!
In a few days I will receive the video of the jump and I will write a post fully dedicated to it, where you'll be able to laugh with my facial expressions and see the whole adventure.

For now, here are my suggestions of places to visit in London, maybe it will create the urge for you to pack your bags and book a trip! We all want that, right?

Nothing Hill 🌈

Nothing Hill e Portobello foram uma das melhores surpresas que tive. Quando cheguei fiquei super desanimada porque a zona do metro não é a mais bonita diga-se de passagem. Adicionalmente, quando comecei a descer as ruas, reparei que muitas das lojas estavam fechadas e não havia tanto movimento como estava à espera.

Finalmente e após passar as casas coloridas que podem ver em baixo, encontrei ruas cheias de pessoas, com lojas em 2ª mão, artigos de marca vintage, antiquários e até uma feira de antiguidades com livros e roupa.

A minha primeira impressão não foi a melhor mas a final foi sem dúvida fantástica!!

Uma das coisas que notei foi que, na rua com as casas coloridas, os moradores não são muito disponíveis para permitir que tiremos fotos nas suas portas. É compreensível, são milhares de pessoas a lutar por uma foto na casa com a cor predileta.

Nothing Hill and Portobello were definitely one of the best surprised I ever had. When I arrived, I was very disappointed because the subway area is not the loveliest and, while I was walking on the streets, I noticed that many of the stores were closed and there were not so many people there as I thought.

Finally and after passing by the colorful house you can see in the picture below,I found streets full of people, with 2nd handed stores, designer vintage stores, antiques stores and even an antique fair with books and clothes.

My first impression wasn't the best but my last definitely was!!

One of the things I noticed is that the residents are not that available when it comes to taking pictures in their doorsteps. I understand, there are millions of people fighting for a picture in their favourite house doorsteps.
